Welcome to Yuppy Koti Centre Ploiesti, the Finnish inspired educational centre!
Our educational centre has been in operation since September 2014, for children aged 3-12, as well as for those interested in studying foreign languages, parents and teachers alike. Close to the city centre and its attractions, but still nearby the most popular park of the city, the environment motivates the teachers and children alike to explore the various opportunities!
The centre is open from 7.45 – 17.45 and the attendance is flexible. We provide fresh, nutritious and delicious lunch as well as morning and afternoon snack for the children. Fresh fruit and vegetables are also served to the children.
Alexandra Anton, the founder of Yuppy Koti Centre, is a familiar name in the field of education. She is one of the few education experts who studied both in Romania and in Finland. In 2014 she graduated from the Master’s Degree Programme in Learning, Learning Environments and Educational Systems within the University of Turku in South-West Finland. Since then, she is often interviewed about the two educational systems.
Yuppy Koti Centre is a concept developed from the belief that high quality education refined in the North part of Europe and renowned for its outstanding results should be available to people of Ploiesti.
We promote a research based approach to education, together with collaboration between teachers and strong partnership with the parents, plus a balanced approach to curriculum, teaching, and assessment. We provide education based on the Finnish principles, we value creative thinking and we are driven by a global mindset.
